Lead Mechanical Engineer 

Location: Brisbane, CBD 

Benefits: Exciting new project  

Indicative assignment length: initial 6-9 month contract

The role:

Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to be a key player in their Brisbane-based Engineering Team, within the Resources division – Gold Mine. 

In this role, you’ll leverage your client-focused mindset, exceptional communication skills, and ability to seamlessly coordinate across disciplines. This is your chance to shape a major project and leave a lasting impact. 

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Minimum 10 years' Mining Industry /engineering consultancy experience  

  • Proficient use of related packages including, Fluidflow/fathom, Wscat, Navisworks simulate, AutoCAD 

  • Mineral processing plant experience required (Gold mine) 

  • Previous experience in a similar role highly desirable 

  • In-depth knowledge of discipline design standards and engineering systems 

  • Experience in a senior engineering role supervising discipline team members 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines 

  • Positive, can-do attitude; and attention to detail. 

ONLY Mineral processing plant experience required candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered.
