About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Lead Mechanical/Piping Engineer to join our dynamic team in Perth. This role requires advanced engineering expertise and leadership skills to solve complex engineering problems, support project execution, and mentor a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop efficient and economical solutions for complex engineering challenges.
  • Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and client engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering practices, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
  • Lead the technical aspects of projects, ensuring quality, adherence to scope, and timely delivery.
  • Oversee resource planning, mentoring, and team performance management.
  • Conduct engineering studies, analyses, and calculations, and prepare final documentation for client approval.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals and implement innovative solutions.
  • Provide support for construction, testing, commissioning, and operational phases.

About You:

  • Significant experience in mechanical/piping engineering with a strong understanding of industry standards, regulations, and codes.
  • Proven track record in a leadership role managing teams of 20-30 people and overseeing large-scale projects.
  • Skilled in project execution, risk management, and quality assurance.
  • Expertise in technical disciplines, vendor management, and proposal development.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering tools and software such as Microsoft Office Suite and specialty design tools.
  • Advanced technical knowledge with a strong background in oil and gas projects, ideally with brownfields experience.
  • A bachelor's degree in science or engineering, with professional licensing where required.
