Responsibilities:
• Establish and manage effectively a planning and progress control system to support the Project Manager’s decision making process and allow them to complete the project according to internal baselines and in compliance with the contractual dates and requirements
• Ensure any deviation from the plan is promptly spotted and analysed, final time impact is estimated, and the effect of corrective actions taken is monitored
• Create a schedule awareness atmosphere among all project participants
Responsibilities for the Job
• Ensure the development of the Project Schedule according to contractual requirements and internal standards, verifying its feasibility and highlighting any criticalities
• Implement the Planning and Progress Control System required by the contract and in compliance with internal standards
• Interface and coordinate with Discipline Leaders, Supervisors, and Managers to build up activities, assign milestones, identify project constraints and devise the activity network
• Prepare all the reference baseline documents, and ensure that the Project’s planning and scheduling requirements are properly and clearly communicated to those functionally responsible for executing the work
• Issue all relevant reporting in a timely manner
• Perform critical path analysis
• Issue the Planning & Scheduling Procedure and the Progress Measurement Procedure
• Perform schedule risk analysis
• Participate in risk management activities
• Ensure the effectiveness of the Planning and Progress Control System, monitoring the progress measurement system and ensuring the proper information flow, progress status and completion forecast are assessed and reported throughout the Project Lifecycle (EPCI)
• Update all Project Schedules, collecting actual data, evaluating forecast dates and monitoring any progress and productivity deviation compared with the baseline schedule, including the corrective actions taken by the PM
• Maintain records for all significant events, like contractual claims/obligations, productivity, deliverables, materials status, with extensive use of Company/Partner/Client IT systems and reports
• Create and maintain the 90 days look-ahead schedule, weekly schedule, and monthly schedule. Isolate any adverse trends and warn the PM on time to take corrective actions
• Issue weekly and monthly project reports (internally and to the Client)
• Assist the Project Control Manager in the preparation of the Project Status Report
• Participate in coordination meetings (internally or with the Client as appropriate)
• Support the Project during contract amendments/claims providing the time impact analysis
• Support the Project Control Manager to prepare the Project Close-Out Report and productivity feedback data
Required Skills:
• Degree qualified, preferably in engineering
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Previous experience working on Oil and Gas projects
• Past experience of EPCI projects, with a strong emphasis on offshore vessel planning
• Expert user of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project

Key Responsibilities and background:
- Implement HSES Management System considering the particularities of the Company, Client and applicable legislative regulatory requirements
- Drive a common and consistent risk based HSES culture
- Develop and implement HSES plans, procedures, and instructions as required by Contract and in line with corporate and legislative requirements
- Facilitate and participate in risk assessments and ensure risk registries are maintained up to date
- Develop HSES Activity plan and ensure all HSES requirements, including inspections, audits, and emergency response, are listed and scheduled
- Monitor for effectiveness and assist in the implementation of Project HSES Management Plan
- Prepare, schedule, and conduct internal and external HSES audits
- Complete subcontractor/vendor HSES pre-qualification and bid evaluation process
- Manage subcontractor/vendor HSES Performance
- Work closely with the PMT and sub-contractors on the development of suitable hazard control interventions
- Review client HSES documentation as required (Policies, Procedures, etc.) and perform Gap Analysis to Project procedures when required
- Establish and manage tangible KPI’s relevant to the area of responsibility
- Monitor HSES statistics and identify trends
- Report trends promptly and prepare action plans to promote continual improvement
- Actively participate in safety programs and other initiatives
- Plan, lead, and participate in HSES meetings
- Follow-up closeout and maintain HSES actions
- Ensure HSES resources are adequately assigned
- Complete personal development program and ensure appropriate development program for mentees

This is a contract role until the end of 2025 that will cover a few sites in and around Dublin. They are looking for a candidate with strong construction safety background who has ideally worked on data centre / technology projects previously. We can cater for both freelance or employed.
Role & Requirements
- Monitoring the implementation of the project-Specific Construction Safety Management Plan (CSMP) of the General Contractor.
- Evaluating H&S leadership, planning, support, operational controls, performance management, and continuous improvement of both the General contractor/Developer and their Contractors.
- Providing the oversight, measurement, and assurance of the Contractors implementation of and conformance with the project-specific CSMP
- Supporting the Client Construction Manager in project meetings (i.e. with General contractor/Developer, Architect, Contractor).
- Conducting regular (i.e., daily) site walks to visually assess construction work activities.
- Conducting a documented weekly Health and Safety Audit using client construction zone inspection tools and prepare Health and Safety Audit reports
- Monitoring and evaluating the Project General contractor’s/Developer’s management of the contractors appointed on the Project
- Managing tasks within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensuring quality standards on project deliverables.
- Building client relationships and nurturing repeat business by continuously striving to exceed their expectations.
- Supporting ERM Partners and Project Managers to effectively manage and deliver projects.
- Building strong collaborative relationships with other ERM employees
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Technical Degree in H&S Management, Engineering, or Specialty area (i.e. Industrial Hygiene, Construction); or three (3) years in H&S management role(s).
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in industrial, civil, or technology-related construction sector(s).
- Fluency in the English language (native or secondary) both verbal and written.
- In-depth knowledge of Irish H&S standards and regulations
- Competency in occupational H&S management systems (i.e. ISO 45001; OHSAS 18001).
- Proven expertise in hazard risk assessment, safe method working statements, and post-incident root cause analysis.
- Experience in the evaluation/auditing of Construction Safety Management Plans
