Key objectives
Applies expert engineering knowledge and seasoned project / site experience to support the successful commissioning of any project in our client’s business areas including hull/topsides/mooring facilities right from preparation phase to execution phase.
Responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Receives guidance only on new assignment / objectives and special / complex features.
- Independent on regular nature of work, uses personal experience, and applies relevant company policies and procedures.
- Uses creativity, constructive thinking and interprets / independent judgment to formulate results based on principles, personal experience. Develop unique solutions for complex issues.
- Anticipates potential problems, and proactively solves problems through creative thinking / using internal and external resources.
- This position is considered more seasoned, responsible and reliable in terms of knowledge, experience and decision making. Hence bigger responsibilities / accountability are expected. Participates in setting objectives for projects.
- Additionally carry forward the company’s HSEQ policies and meet overall HSEQ objectives in all projects / feed back results to corporate HSEQ team.
- Compliant with confidentiality of technical / non-technical information to any unauthorized person / company / competitors.
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Process or Chemical)
- Minimum experience of 14 work experience in onshore/offshore Oil & Gas area or FPSO line(s).
- Specialist knowledge of at least Three FPSO/Topside projects or related project line.
- Ability to define concepts of completion process.
- Experience of High Capacity Process Production Systems and EPCIC to handover to operations.
- Experience in Complex Gas Compression, Injection, Export Systems and Thermodynamic requirements for Heat Recovery and Steam systems.
- Have proven project experience and skills within the field of Testing, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning execution and startup at offshore
- Experience in offshore plant startup and stabilization and able to provide Operations with technical support throughout start-up, stabilization and performance testing
- Work experience within strict regulatory environments, and aligning commissioning independencies with engineering compliance and contractual requirements.
- High safety awareness is mandatory. A good knowledge of managing simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) is essential.
- Significant knowledge of multiple technologies, projects and applications. Working knowledge of competing and alternative technologies.
- Familiar in use of Software, Database systems related to System Completion, Project Management (MS Project / P6) and General computer literacy (MS office).
- Shows evidence of good Organizing / Management skills.
- Demonstrate ability to take lead.
- Good communication skill.
