Lead of Shut Down Execution

Airswift is seeking for a Lead of Shut Down Execution to work with our client based in Qatar.
Job Purpose
- Lead and supervise brownfield activities executed by the EPC Contractor related to Post-Shutdown, Shutdown and Pre-shutdown.
- Responsible to prepare and to control all shut down activities with strict compliance to Company Shut Down Management System procedure.
- Close follow up of the EPC Contractor scope with respect to Highest Safety and Quality Standard, and in compliance to the contract requirement and the Project objectives
- Coordinate and manage all on-site, as well as support other project disciplines and Company Operation team to safely execute the hook up and brownfield scope within the desired level of quality and in compliance with Company SD windows.
- Work with the project team to maintain relationship with EPC Contractor, subcontractors, vendors.
- Coordinate to ensure all required materials, equipment and inspections occur to support schedule
- Prepare and provides routine verbal and written progress reports to the HU and Brownfield Division manager and updates progress performance of the EPC Contractor with analysis to achieve progress
- Review the EPC Contractor’s construction, brownfield and Shutdown deliverables such as Method Statements, procedures, work execution packages, SD plan, Risk assessments with respect to the Contract requirements.
- Attend workshops, shutdown gates, document reviews, formal risk assessments, deliverables to support the offshore project activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Technical background with Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Shutdown Execution in O&G Industry
- Experience in offshore Shutdown and brownfield activities under SIMOPS Conditions.
- Good Knowledge in shutdown planification and operational process
- Knowledgeable in HAZOP, HAZID, Risk Assessment processes and applications.
- Good knowledge of international codes / Standards
Key Accountabilities
- Provides Safety, Health and Environmental leadership by example to the Project Team including the EPC Contractor, its sub-contractor and site vendor
- Ensure full implementation of the Project requirements and control the deliverables in compliance with Company Shut Down Management System.
- Responsible for ensuring the EPC Contractor team implements and sustains its obligations and responsibilities with respect to the HSE and Quality requirements.
- To supervise and control the activities of the EPC Contractor/Subcontractors related to the brownfield and Shutdown activities to ensure that it complies with contractual requirements, project documentation and applicable International Standards.
- Report progress of SD preparation and execution to the HU & Brownfield Division Manager and ensure that all required project deliverables and activities associated to SD activities are prepared, validated and implemented in accordance with the agreed Shut Down Execution plan.
- To participate to the engineering and design reviews related to SD execution scope.
- To participate to Risk Assessments, kick off meetings and Pre-Job Meetings, pre-SIMOPS visits, technical meeting etc.
- To ensure the preparation of the Permit to Work and SIMOPS documentation in due time and in compliance with the Contract requirements and Company procedures.
- To ensure the readiness of fabrication scope, material, equipment, spares/consumables with the required quality, traceability, certification for the execution of the SD activities.
- To Ensure with Contractors/Subcontractors that all the built dossiers are properly handover to the Onshore and offshore Team.
- Verify that the EPC Contractor’s reports are accurate with regards to the progress the pre-SD, SD and post SD activities.
- To contribute and participate to the Lessons Learned consolidation and deployment requested by Company.
