JOB DESCRIPTION
The incumbent is responsible for the operation of the reactor and station equipment ensuring safe and efficient operation of the nuclear plant in accordance with State and Federal Regulations, Plant Operating License, and Station Procedures while meeting the electrical power needs of the company.
The candidate will also go through the company's eighteen-month training and, after meeting the class requirements, will obtain the Reactor Operator (RO) or Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license. Once certified, the employee will have short and long-term incentives added to their compensation. The bonuses vary depending on the experience and on the license obtained.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• The candidate has at least three years of power plant experience. Up to 18 months of this experience may be credited by academic equivalence as defined in the most recent version of the Institute of Nuclear Power.
• The candidate possesses a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Operations (INPO) ACAD that provides guidelines for initial license candidate's eligibility. The candidate must also have at least six months at CNS.
Additionally, operations experience is required, as defined below:
• 6 months performing plant operational duties as a Non-Licensed Operator (NLO) on site.
OR
• 12 months performing plant operational duties as a NLO at another Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) facility.
OR
• 6 months performing plant operational duties as an ACTIVE licensed RO at another BWR facility.
OR
• 24 months in position equivalent to the RO position at a military reactor. Equivalent military positions are defined as one of the following: RO, Engineering Watch Supervisor (EWS)/Engineering Officer Of the Watch (EOOW),Propulsion Plant Watch Officer (PPWO)/Propulsion Plant Watch Supervisor (PPWS).

Purpose of the role

- Active contribution to the EV Operations and Maintenance strategy on our operational performance agenda and define and implement the most optimum solutions in each region– this strategy is essential and key to leading a customer focused business in a low margin environment
- Contribute to the development of annual plans, budgets, and commercial models for yearly REVEX/OPEX expenditure in relation to performance and improvements to our network
- Own the global roadmap for business-critical solutions/tool and facilitate external benchmarking for centrally driven efforts, owning the external relationship, scoping the terms of reference, agreeing on the terms of the contract, providing, and validating data, reviewing the study results, and turning insights into action
Your profile:
- Experience in large scale Performance Improvement and Change Initiatives
- Team Leadership experience (essential). Experience in managing multidisciplined teams (desired).
- A knowledge and experience of all Operational functions, e.g., Engineering, Reliability & Maintenance, Logistics etc. A knowledge of operational management systems and the ability to manage improvement processes which increase the efficiencies of these systems and processes
- Exposure to the manufacturing and renewable sector will be beneficial but not essential
- Deep analytical skills to understand data and draw out key insights and messages
- Capable to operate at all levels of the organization, with good inter-personal and presentation skills

We are looking to hire a Maintenance Analytics Manager to provide expertise in support of the EV Charging Programme currently being implemented across key locations throughout Europe. As the Global Maintenance Analytics Manager, you will play an integral part in our EV programme across several fronts. We want you to define and implement our Global Performance plan that will underpin operational excellence across our EV installed base and be the face of this within the wider business.
Purpose of the Role:
Leads the Management Information and Data Analytics Program for Operations Excellence, providing the analytics toolset and data science capability to support the development of insights from the EV charging network data and business improvement recommendations.

Key accountabilities:
- Play a key role in operating out the externally committed target of 100,000 EV units by 2030.
- Supports the data and analytics value chain for operations, maintenance, and reliability dashboards.

Environmental Regulatory Manager
Airswift is seeking an Environmental Regulatory Manager to join our utility client in Richmond, VA on an initial 1-year contract basis. This position will have a hybrid schedule (2 days/week in office). LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY.
The Company has a need to engage a full-time augmented staff for work related to electric transmission permitting in Virginia and North Carolina. This person will be located in the Company’s Richmond Office with some travel day travel in Virginia or North Carolina. Day travel to exterior job sites and meetings may be required. This position has responsibility for conducting reviews of proposed electric transmission projects to determine environmental permitting requirements and obtaining environmental permits in Virginia and North Carolina. In general, the individual will be working with project managers to understand the scope of a project, then engaging with external consultants and directing the work of these consultants to create the permit applications and other deliverables, while managing the quality and timeliness of the vendor’s work.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate with the Company’s Virginia project managers to understand the scope of new and replacement electric transmission projects and apply knowledge of environmental regulations to determine what, if any, environmental permits are required.
- Determine environmental permit applicability with specific knowledge of CWA Section 404/401, ESA Section 7, NHPA Section 106, Erosion and Sediment Control, and Virginia and North Carolina Stormwater Management Programs.
- With support from other vendors, prepare applications and secure environmental permits or clearances required for construction.
- Communicate environmental compliance requirements to project teams and field personnel. Depending on the project, communications may be held during project site meetings.
- Technical assistance to sites/projects for environmental compliance.
- Interpret environmental permits and regulations to ensure that compliance dates and requirements are met.
- Communicate with regulatory agency representatives, negotiate permit conditions, represent the Company during regulatory inspections, and other regulatory meetings.
- Oversight and technical direction of contractors and consultants including preparation of scopes of work, purchase requisitions, permit applications, permit support materials, and invoice approval.
- Adherence to the Company’s environmental policy, guidance, and work practices.
- Adherence to the Company’s safety rules and safety performance expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years work experience with environmental permitting.
- Experience with permits related to wetlands (including threatened and endangered species and cultural resource coordination), erosion and sediment control, and stormwater management.
- Regulatory agency experience or experience representing an organization with regulatory agencies is required.
- Experience with environmental permitting of linear utilities (gas, electric, water or sewer) is a plus.
- Experience overseeing consultants is a plus. Knowledge of environmental justice issues is a plus.
- Well organized, independent/self-directed, and able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication (written and oral) and coordination skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and collaborative.
- License or ability to obtain a license to operate a motor vehicle is required.
