Key roles and responsibilities include:
- Comply with all Systems of Work requirements for the position as per document PY 182 “MFM Work Management Process”.
- Accountable for developing planned work packs for all shutdown work, including its scoping, planning, materials ordering and resourcing
- Provide comprehensive shutdown plans to relevant equipment planning and scheduling teams
- Ensure a 6 month Forward Plan for Supply and Procurement is built to source and stage all parts on site 2 weeks prior to scheduled shutdown start dates
- Provide advice to supervisors, superintendents and other stakeholders and report on implications of changes to schedules and key maintenance activities
- Attend to Equipment Strategy Meeting Actions
- Ensure Shutdown maintenance costs have been accurately charged against correct equipment
- Produce monthly progress reports for use by the leadership team
- Establish sustainable partnership with key customer and stakeholders to ensure the shutdown schedule is understood and owned
- Develop and manage a 12 month rolling long range maintenance plan
- Oversee the successful management of long term planning of shutdown process
- Confirm return flights to site are true and accurate prior to departing for Field Break to ensure sufficient manning
Qualifications, Skills and Experience required:
- Experience in long term planning and shutdown planning
- Experience working in an open-pit mining or heavy vehicle service environment
- Experience in CMMS preferably Pronto
- Experience in data management of CMMS Systems
- Excellent technical problem solving and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multicultural workforce
- Effective English written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and focus on task setting and tracking to completion
- Able to work effectively with team members from other departments
- Demonstrated ability to manage high volume of data in a CMMS System
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and track maintenance forecasts to a high compliance
