We are currently recruiting an experienced B1.3 or B2 Maintenance Manager to work for an established and renowned company, to ensure the airworthiness of helicopter fleet. Bell 412 Type Rating is required.
This person could be a Chief Engineer, SBE or experienced LAME with supervisory / management experience.
Location- Mid North Coast region, NSW
Duration- Permanent
Hours Monday – Thursday – 4day week
Salary- $150,000 - $190,000 + Super (negotiable)
Relocation- Interstate relocation package if required (from within Australia only)
Responsibilities
- Managing the organisations workforce and allocating resources to provide high quality maintenance + modifications to clients helicopter fleet
- Provide leadership for the full scope of activities carried out by the workforce
- Report all safety related matters in accordance with the Safety Management System (SMS) and make appropriate recommendations to improve safety, productivity and efficiency;
- Supervise unqualified maintenance personnel;
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures
- Monitor the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimise resources, prioritise spending, and achieve timeliness, reliability, and safety standards
- Ensure all Aircraft related certification paperwork is completed accurately and in compliance with the system of certification and within Company and CASA deadlines;
- Ensure all Maintenance Releases issued are in accordance with the release instructions;
- Perform a variety of diagnostic and mechanical duties on one or more aircraft models involving diagnosis of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft mechanically for flight and delivery to customer;
- Assist in preparing quotes for service work
- Mentoring, Training and overall managing the performance of workforce
- Customer interface / resolving issues
- CASA B1.3 or B2 Licence
- Extensive experience in a supervisory or management role
- 10+ years Aircraft Maintenance Experience
- B412 Type Rating
- Deep knowledge of Part 145 and CAR30 regulations
- Be able to obtain Airport Security Identification Card (ASIC)
- Full Australian working rights – must have current Permanent Residency or Citizenship
