Our client is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to work within their facilities located in Stratford, CT for a long-term assignment (with the possibility of extension depending on performance).

Accountabilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on grinders, pumps, valves, electrical systems, and dust collectors and experience in nitrogen.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures
Identify and order replacement parts
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities
Work on call to respond to emergency maintenance issues

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in maintenance and repair of grinders, pumps, valves, electrical systems, and dust collectors
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Safety oriented
Valid driver's license
