Grid Execution Manager – Renewable Energy | APAC

We are working in close partnership with a global leader in the renewable energy sector to recruit a Grid Execution Manager for their Power Plant Solutions APAC team. This critical leadership role will oversee a highly skilled team of engineers across the Asia-Pacific region, managing grid connection and balance of plant (BOP) scopes across multiple large-scale renewable energy projects.

About the Role:
The Grid Execution Manager will be responsible for leading a cross-functional technical team to deliver compliant, timely, and commercially viable grid solutions across the full project lifecycle – from sales to construction and service phases. This includes team development, stakeholder management, project optimisation, and contract negotiation on complex grid and electrical interface requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a regional team of technical engineers across multiple renewable projects.

  • Optimise project delivery to ensure business and technical objectives are met.

  • Improve internal processes, tools, and resource strategies for scalability and efficiency.

  • Drive team development, mentoring and attracting industry-leading talent.

  • Support contract negotiations to secure technically sound, balanced grid solutions.

  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure expectations are met across technical, commercial, and project delivery fronts.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Power Systems, Power Electronics or similar.

  • Deep knowledge of power systems modelling tools such as PSCAD, PSS/E, or PowerFactory.

  • Strong understanding of renewable grid interconnection, grid codes, and electrical design.

  • Exposure to BESS, STATCOM, SVC, HVDC or synchronous condenser systems is highly desirable.

  • Proven track record leading technical teams and managing stakeholder relationships across international projects.

What’s on Offer:

  • Strategic leadership role within a globally recognised renewable energy innovator.

  • International scope with exposure to industry-leading technologies and projects.

  • A collaborative and dynamic environment offering strong career development and influence.

  • A chance to shape the future of grid integration in the renewable energy transition.

If you’re an experienced technical leader with a passion for innovation in energy infrastructure, we encourage you to get in touch for a confidential discussion.
