Elevate Your Career in Admin Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Admin Assistant to join our team on a contract basis. This is a full-time position with a duration of 2 months, located in Pascagoula, Mississippi, United States.

Role Overview

  • Provide general administrative support, including coordinating meetings and appointments, managing emails and calendars, generating reports and presentations, planning events and meetings, tracking invoices, ordering office supplies, and maintaining files.
  • File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports.
  • Prepare responses to inquiries and requests for information.
  • Create and maintain department SharePoint and Microsoft Teams site.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
  • Act as back-up for other Administrative Assistants.
  • Maintain headcounts of personnel during turnarounds.
  • Control and distribute documents to maintain an efficient turnaround environment.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook) and SharePoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to plan, balance, and multitask based on business needs.
  • Punctual, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, with emphasis on Excel, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams (meetings and file sharing), and Outlook (or similar email/calendar app).
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat for creating, editing, and combining PDFs.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce for maintaining databases and data entry.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
