Our Business
We are a leading manufacturing company specializing in production of custom membranes for roof tiles and flat roof. We have partnered up with Airswift to support us in hiring and are proud to expand our team to include the appointment of a Master Data Specialist.

Responsibilities: 
 
  • Master Data Management: Create, update, and maintain master data records in the manufacturing systems, including bills of materials (BOMs), production routings, work centers, item master data, and other relevant data elements.
  • Data Accuracy and Integrity: Review and validate master data entries to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established standards. Identify and resolve any data discrepancies or inconsistencies.
  • Data Governance: Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures to maintain data quality and consistency across systems and processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data standards and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains related to master data management. Work closely with stakeholders to implement enhancements and optimize data-related workflows.
  • System Support and Troubleshooting: Serve as a subject matter expert for master data-related issues and inquiries. Collaborate with IT and system administrators to resolve technical problems, perform data analysis, and develop reports as needed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with various teams, including production planning, procurement, inventory control, and quality assurance, to understand their data requirements and provide timely and accurate support. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth data flow and resolve any data-related issues.
  • Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies related to master data management. Support internal and external audits by providing accurate data and documentation.

Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as industrial engineering, supply chain management, or business administration) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in master data management within a manufacturing production environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including production planning, procurement, inventory management, and quality control.
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar) for master data management. SAP4HANA is highly regarded but not mandatory.
  • SAP (PM, QM and PP) module will be advantageous
  • Adept at MS Office
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy with the ability to analyse complex data sets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve data-related issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices is a plus.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify process enhancements and drive change.
