We are working with a Major Oil & Gas operator to source a MATERIAL CONTROLLER & LOGISTICS PROCUREMENT COORDINATOR. This is a short-term contract role working on a residential basis.

Title: MATERIAL CONTROLLER & LOGISTICSPROCUREMENT COORDINATOR.
Start Date: Negotiable (typically within 1 month notice)
Duration: 7 Months with a possibility of extension
Location: Onshore
Working Schedule: Standard (8 hours a day / 5 days a week) or as advised by the project manager.
Job Accountabilities:
- Focal point for contracts and procurement for Project’s procurement activities,
- Coordination and tracking of materials,
- Establish and maintain accurate records of materials follow-up database (from PO to implementation into the new PLANT),
- Quality assurance and integrity of all project materials,
- Accountable of the international codes and client’s standard applicable to its discipline,
- Ensure awareness of and compliance with HSE rules and regulations by subordinates and contractors.
- Assist the Project Lead request on project management matters associated to his scope during Project execution.
- Report and liaise with the package lead as needed.
Minimum Qualifications and experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in any engineering discipline.
- Professional experience of at least 10 years post-graduation with at least 5 years in Materials / Logistics management.
- Wide experience of Computerized Stock and Procurement management systems.
- Experience in offshore construction activities under Brownfield conditions.
- Familiar with PALM (designation of SAP tool implementation project), PM and MM modules.
- Fluent in English. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
- Good analytical skills,
- H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.
