Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed design drawings, capital cost estimates, and a full suite of study deliverables.
- Operate independently while having access to a principal for technical guidance.
- Be responsible for project deliverables, demonstrating capability at a Senior level.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Be an effective communicator, liaising directly with Engineering Managers, Project Managers, and Estimators.
- Contribute to a variety of rail projects for different clients, including major projects and sustaining capital initiatives.
- Possess knowledge of Pilbara Operator standards, as these differ significantly from Australian Standards.
- Embrace a traditional consultancy role and seize opportunities for growth within Client's Company.
- Apply true technical design engineering experience, with a strong focus on design rather than operations or maintenance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably with qualifications verified by Engineers Australia if obtained overseas.
- A minimum of 3-7 years of technical design engineering experience.

Principal Electrical Designer – Perth, WA

Role Overview:
- Drive and deliver safe and sustainable electrical designs for various sustaining capital projects.
- Significant involvement in brownfield projects; strong expertise in brownfield design is essential.
- Lead and coordinate design deliverables, ensuring technical integrity and compliance with the client's company procedures.
- Quality check and sign off on deliverables for the discipline.
Qualifications:
- Proven discipline project lead experience on brownfield projects is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver discipline-specific design and drafting services in alignment with the client's company, client, and regulatory requirements.
- Define project scope and manage scope changes according to change management processes.
- Prepare, oversee, and assist in the production of engineering drawings and documentation.
- Ensure drawings and documents meet the client's company checking procedures.
- Maintain project timelines and budgets.
- Participate in project reviews as needed.
- Assist in scoping requirements and estimating design budgets.
- Support discipline interviews for project candidates.
- Collaborate with project Lead Engineers, discipline design teams, Workshare team, and Project Engineers/Managers.

We're looking for someone with a keen interest in mine closure, rehabilitation and leaving a positive legacy within the mining industry. As the Project Manager, you will lead and support the delivery of mine closure projects, working with a tier 1 mining client. This role will see you take ownership of day to day deliverables, team leadership and achievement of time and budget objectives.
- Develop project goals and objectives by preparing management plans and milestones
- Ensure complete understanding, compliance and delivery to the scope of work assigned to the project position and ensure team members are assigned with roles and responsibilities to deliver to budget and schedule
- Establish the strategic direction for the project in line with business unit strategy
- Clarify key stakeholder needs and allocate resources to ensure the delivery of effective outcomes
- Control the financial management of the project by overseeing budget expenditure and conducting regular reviews against plan and budget
- Bachelor of Engineering degree (4+ year duration) accredited by Engineers Australia
- 12+years of relevant Senior experience, with a minimum 5 years of proven Project Management experience
- Ability to liaise with all relevant stakeholders to produce and review packages of work
- Proven project delivery experience (EPCM) on major multi discipline projects
