Airswift is on a task to find an IT Analyst with experience using OpenText to work on a 6 months contract with one of our chemicals clients remotely.
Responsibilities
- The IT Analyst is responsible for the definition, functional design, custom development, and technical support within the Open Text application and other data integration applications
- The analyst will be involved in product and lifecycle management, support efforts, as well as appropriate integrations with SAP (Open Text Extended ECM for SAP) and non-SAP solutions for the Open Text application
- You will be responsible to drive sustainable, operational excellence in the delivery of new application improvements and existing services
- Facilitate business process discussions to gather and detail business requirements which ensure value and meet the client objectives
- Provide support and leadership to resolution for technical issues within the Open Text team, other internal teams, and outside vendors
- Provide technical direction in the analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance for bug fixes and improvements related to Open Text and its interfaces
- Work with the Change and Release Management team to ensure representation and coordination of projects throughout the change and release process
- Actively participate in design discussions and code reviews
- Understand both Agile Methodology, project execution approaches and provides guidance to other teams
- Work with vendors to design and implement new functionality
- Continuously drive excellence in the areas of optimizing services and work processes, improving quality and reliability and lowering total costs

Qualifications
- 5+ years’ IT Analyst experience with document management systems including development and configuration with Open Text Content Server 21.4 including Active View, Database Schemas, Web Report Design, and Web Forms, Transmittal cover sheets, OTCS workflows, Smart UI configuration, IDE, OScript, SOAP and REST API service
- Demonstrabe understanding of Content server module related to Extended ECM for Engineering like ADN, CRT, ASM, Bulk loader, Transmittal, MFT, Records Management, Brava, Blazon, Object importer
- Clear understanding of content server module development and the integration points with other third-party applications
- Some experience in custom software development experience including full development lifecycle (C# or Java, Visual Studio, HTML, JAVASCRIPT, JQUERY, SOAP, REST API, JSON)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Strong problem solving, teamwork skills, and ability to work with minimal direction
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to solve problems and fix issues
Top MUST HAVES:
- Must have exposure with document control (document management systems in development and configuration with Open Text Content Server 21.4) - this is # 1 - OpenText doc control, OpenText operations, process flows (HAVE to be familiar with this)

Responsibilities:
- Provide resolution to all desktop support requests.
- Configure, troubleshoot, isolate, repair, and resolve all customer desktop issues including desktop/laptop hardware and software, mobile devices, printers, scanners, copiers, hardware peripherals, and other desktop-related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair desktop computers to ensure they interconnect seamlessly with multiple systems including network drives and all business productivity applications.
- Communicate directly with customers via phone, e-mail, and remote diagnostics to identify, reproduce, and resolve customer-reported issues.
- Work independently to troubleshoot all support requests and follow escalation policies.
- Participate in testing, documentation, and implementation of assigned projects.
- Track hardware inventory per division policies along with running and terminating infrastructure cabling between workstations and communication closets.

Key Requirements:
Expertise:
- 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Services Engineer with a strong cross-functional knowledge base in network, database, web services, AI, and infrastructure.
Database Skills:
- Proficiency in databases is a plus.
Programming/Scripting:
- Bonus points for proficiency in languages such as PowerShell, Python, Terraform, and C#.
Cloud Mastery:
- A comprehensive understanding of cloud delivery models, including PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS.
IaC Champion:
- Strong expertise in Azure Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
Network Wizard:
- In-depth understanding of tenant-to-tenant network communications in Azure.
CI/CD Familiarity:
- Knowledge of continuous integration/deployment processes and tools like IDEs (Eclipse), Source Code Management (GIT/Stash), Jenkins, and Maven.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
Certifications:
- Azure certifications like AZ-303, AZ-304, or equivalent are a big plus.
Availability:
- Willingness to participate in a server "On-Call" rotation, providing 24x7 support for server emergencies.
Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in Azure cloud services and infrastructure management.
Education:
