As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, as well as providing technical support to users. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable networks that meet the organization's needs.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices and protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and Spanning Tree Protocol (STP).
- Implement and support Software-Defined Access (SDA) technologies, such as Cisco DNA Center, Software-Defined Access Fabric, and Network Assurance Engine.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other IT teams and departments to identify and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.
- Participate in network security initiatives and ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Provide technical support to end-users and diagnose and resolve network-related issues.
- Participate in network capacity planning and performance tuning activities.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices and recommend improvements to network infrastructure and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on implementing and supporting Software-Defined Access (SDA) technologies.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), VLAN, VRF, and QoS.
- Experience with Cisco networking technologies, including Cisco DNA Center, Software-Defined Access Fabric, and Network Assurance Engine.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
