JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning period (onshore – Rio de Janeiro Office/Home Office) – December 2024:
- Familiarization with company management system and practices;
- Work scope review for the execution period;
- Lead and participate in risk assessments (HAZIDs, C&L, PTW);
- Facilitate in inductions, onboarding sessions and trainings;
- Support on the development of task risk management through permit to work process and other tools;
- Support on the development of bridging document regarding interface with contractors and establish relevant boundaries;
- Map critical upcoming work and inspect at contractor or in our logistic base prior going offshore therefore safe adjustments can take place
- Execution period (offshore – FPSO) – March 2025
- Carry out offshore induction briefing;
- Support on Permit to Work process, emission, and spot checks during execution;
- Be ahead of planned activities, setting HSE expectations prior to job start up;
- Attend, support and lead pre-job safety meetings with the crews;
- Ensure mitigation measures will be implemented at the field;
- Be present in the field during PTW start up process earlier in the morning ensuring safe work start up since beginning;
- Continuous coaching of crewmembers on safe execution of activities;
- HSE rounds and inspections on the work fronts;
- Support, participate and influence on Observation Cards system through the Safety Program;
- Lead by example, be able to stop the work and reinforce “I am Safety” message;
- Hands on support on task risk assessment and other HSE needs during the period
- Report HSE work progress to the Company Supervisor and OCM, align work expectations and collaboration
- JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Safety Technician certificate as per Ministry of Economy (SIT/ENIT);
- Valid CBSP and HUET trainings;
- Mandatory trainings as per Brazilian regulations: NR33, NR34, NR35, NR37 and others where applicable
- Process plant knowledge (petrochemical, gas import, thermoelectric or any other chemical industrial plant)
- Equinor e-learnings will also be part of induction process;
- Understanding of SIMOPs;
- Hot Work general knowledge (risks and mitigations);
