Role Overview
- Develop the level 3 project management schedule based on activities, units, and subcontracting strategy.
- Ensure consistency between level 3 project schedules and subcontractors' schedules.
- Compile subcontractors' schedules into a common site schedule (level 4).
- Prepare input, scheduling, and progress data for monthly progress reports.
- Update the system for monitoring work progress by subcontract and discipline.
- Manage the weekly site report constitution.
- Check consistency between actual site conditions and planned schedules.
- Review subcontractor resources against planned progress and suggest adjustments.
- Monitor planning/progress evolution and alert management of potential deviations.
- Resolve issues related to delivery schedule breaks.
- Maintain status and quantity of work performed along with labor forecasts.
- Attend coordination meetings with subcontractors for mobilization and demobilization management.
- Verify completion of work and recommend acceptance for final payment.
- Generate reports on progress comparisons and necessary schedule revisions.
- Analyze actions to improve task execution and summarize existing or potential problems.
- Ensure continuous monitoring of the schedule against forecasts.
- Monitor external events impacting the schedule and provide analysis.
Skills & Qualifications
- French speaker required.
- Construction Planning: Strong background in construction planning methodologies.
- Proficient in using Primavera P6 & MS Project for project planning/scheduling tasks.
- Database Management: Experience with managing project and supplier databases (PDB, VDBx, SDBx, GAIA).
- Engineering Documentation: Familiarity with engineering documentation usage.
Education & Experience
- Solid experience in planning role for industrial construction projects within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors.
- On-site revamping experience under Decree 92 is appreciated.
- Strong experience in monitoring construction with a site supervision team.
