About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled I&C Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of electrical equipment, process control, and safety systems across our facilities. As an I&C Technician, you will be responsible for performing both planned and unplanned maintenance, conducting Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct planned and unplanned maintenance on electrical equipment, process control, and safety systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance driven by the work management system and provide detailed feedback on completed and discovered work.
- Plan and coordinate work with the Integrated Asset Planner (IAP) and I&C Lead.
- Oversee and coordinate contractor work, ensuring adherence to company and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor, maintain, and repair automation, instrumentation, and control systems, including large electric-driven compressors, heater treaters, stabilizers, TEG dehydration units, water injection pumps, separation units, LACT skids, and product tankage.
- Participate in RCFA investigations to determine the root cause of equipment breakdowns.
- Work with engineering teams to evaluate maintenance program performance and implement predictive maintenance analytics.
- Promote and lead the implementation of company policies and procedures related to safety, health, environment, process, people, and planning.
- Encourage and utilize innovative technology to optimize facility availability and reliability.
- Experience with Emerson Delta V control systems and oil and gas custody transfer metering and proving systems is preferred.
Formal Requirements:
- High School degree or GED, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Certification, licensing, or completion of an apprentice program is preferred.
- Experience with work management systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo) is required.
- Proficiency with mechanical equipment and automation/instrumentation systems.
- Valid state motor vehicle license required for operating mobile equipment.
- Ability to lift/carry items weighing up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Capable of working in various postures and positions, including tight spaces.
- Willing to work in extreme temperatures, high noise areas, and with dust and fumes.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders to extended heights and work in challenging environments.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to assist other facility and field technicians when needed.
- Successful completion of a fit-for-duty assessment.
