We are currently recruiting for a Permit to work Coordinator to support a billion-dollar, large chemicals processing facility project being delivered and constructed in Skelleftea, Sweden. The successful individual(s) will be engaged on a contract basis for an initial 12 month period, with the likelihood of a further 2 - 3 years of work on the project.
The project Permit to Work (PTW) Coordinator role is a key control of work function which supports construction activities and deals directly with project supervisors and contractor partners alike. The PTW Coordinator serves as a key focal point in the management and coordination of project Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) across all project stakeholders and partners.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Chair a daily PTW/SIMOPS meeting to review/approve pending permits
• Guide, support, advise all parties on which permits they may require
• Guide, support, advise all parties on how to properly prepare their permits
• Guide, support, advise all parties on what supporting documents need to be attached
• Work closely with HSE Advisors and Construction supervisors (Task Risk Assessments)
• Ensure all permits are duly approved/signed before issued for use
• Maintain copies of all issued permits and supporting documents in a safe location
• Maintain a live PTW register and update it daily
• Maintain a PTW / SIMOPS board showing the location of all work/SIMOPS activities
• Maintain a SIMOPS register detailing any clashes that may exist with other activities
• Generate permit to work statistics (Bi-weekly, monthly)
• Report PTW non-compliance issues to HSE Manager as soon as becoming aware of them
Required experience:
• Previous experience in the role of a PTW issuer or coordinator
• Competency in written/oral communication
• Advanced written and spoken English
• Basic Computer Skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Analytical and problem-solving skills

Their Australian landmark projects including wind energy, solar generation, and large-scale battery storage. With a portfolio of assets, they require highly motivated and talented team members who’re responsible for managing the O&M phase of their renewable assets in a safe and efficient manner.
The successful Asset Manager will join a team of multi-disciplinary energy specialists who understand the critical nature of operating energy assets, working towards the companies’ strategic objectives and maintaining maximum generation. Taking ownership of your asset portfolio, from both a technical and financial perspective, you will be responsible for regular reporting, delivering O&M solutions and contract negotiations as well as responsibilities listed below.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships.
- Deliver operational and maintenance activities including planning and delivering on long-term and short-term production plans that meet safety and environmental objectives.
- Revenue generation reporting and budgeting all production related costs & investments.
- Regularly reporting on asset performance, analysis of performance and ensuring compliance with company operating standards.
- Ensure all operations and maintenance performance targets are achieved while fostering a planned maintenance culture.
- Manage the energy certificates sales through/to AMEO, CER, Off takers ect.
- Continuous improvement of systems, functions, and procedures to deliver increased performance based on Key Performance Indicators.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Engineering field
- Additional Project management qualification (highly regarded)
- Proven experience in the supervision and co-ordination of O&M activities within power generation or similar operation
- Working knowledge and understanding of power systems and associated electrical equipment, auxiliary plant and HV infrastructure
- Contract management experience
- Effective planning and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Australian WHSE requirements
- Excellent communication and liaison skills with an ability to interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Two industry relevant Referees
