Personnel Logistics Coordinator – St John’s, NL
Airswift is seeking a Personnel Logistics Coordinator to join one of our major Oil & Gas clients in St John’s, NL. This is an initial 1-year contract with a huge possibility of being extended. This is a Monday-to-Friday position.
Reporting to the SCM Manager, the Personnel Coordinator is responsible for stewarding the planning and monitoring of personnel movements for the Offshore and Dredging campaigns. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with both project management and planning teams to create and forecast plans while providing guidance and solutions in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
The position requires a working knowledge of offshore guidelines and supports contractor management for operations vendors. Critical to this role is excellent organization skills and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Accountabilities
- Responsible for developing and maintaining the Personnel Plan to align with project activities.
- Support all personnel movement for the WWRP Marine and Subsea offshore and dredging campaigns.
- Work closely with the project team to identify support issues and implement continuous improvement opportunities/recommendations in a proactive manner.
- Liaison between contractor representatives as it relates to contract interpretation and personnel management.
- Support all project planning by maintaining required personnel levels.
- Manage and maintain the master Personnel On Board (POB) register for all vessels
- Conduct daily/weekly review meetings to align and mitigate any personnel management/level issues.
- Work collaboratively with the Logistics Department to identify and manage change.
- Provide additional logistics support to the project where required.
- Ensure all personnel adhere to the training and regulatory requirements for offshore travel.
- Ensure all personnel meet all training and competency requirements for travel offshore/ to board vessel
- Develop POB reports for all required project activities
- Bachelor of Commerce degree or related post-secondary education in a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil and Gas Industry or related field
- Familiar with industry-specific regulations and standards, ie C-NLOPB, Transport Canada
- Experienced in Contract Management
- Familiar with Offshore Travel Guidelines both local and international
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office
