- Act as piping designer at the module or vessel construction site, serving as the focal point between the Engineering Office and Site Execution Team.
- Collaborate with the construction team to ensure proper fabrication and installation of pipe supports, piping, tubing and site routings as per project standards and drawings
- Liaise between the design office and site execution team to resolve technical challenges to align on design interpretations and address inter-discipline issues and handle any issues for piping design deliverables.
- Prepare and track site instructions, engineering site queries, management of changes and ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards during construction activities
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and identify and resolve any potential issues
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including subcontractors and construction and commissioning teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the construction and commissioning team to optimize workflow and efficiency and troubleshooting and resolving issues that may arise during construction and pre-commissioning in consultations with respective vendors.
- Advanced knowledge about Piping design, layout and Marine Systems requirements.
- A minimum of 15-20 years of experience in piping design, including floating production installations and site construction.
- Understanding and experience in FEED, Proposals, Basic- and detail design and construction.
- A problem-solving mentality and pro-active approach and not afraid to take initiative.
- Working in an international dynamic, changing environment.
- Aveva Marine/PDMS Design and Navisworks skills are required.
