The role:
The client is seeking a highly experienced Piping Supervisor to oversee the installation, inspection, and testing of pressure equipment and piping systems on a major industrial site in Zeeland. This is a hands-on supervisory role requiring strong knowledge of piping systems, safety standards, and coordination across disciplines to ensure project success.
Responsibilities:

Supervise on-site piping activities related to pressure equipment installation

Ensure all piping systems meet safety and quality standards, codes, and specifications

Coordinate daily tasks and monitor performance of subcontractors and piping teams

Inspect completed work and verify alignment with engineering drawings and procedures

Liaise with QA/QC, HSE, and project teams to resolve technical issues and support smooth project execution

Maintain accurate records, daily reports, and progress updates

Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Piping Supervisor in industrial projects, preferably involving pressure equipment

Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards (e.g., ASME, EN, PED)

Technical education in mechanical or piping engineering (MBO/HBO level or equivalent)

Valid VCA-VOL certification (or willingness to obtain)

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
