Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Downstream clients to seek a Planning Engineer to join their team in Greeley, CO for an initial 1-year contract.
Responsibilities:
- The main function of a Planner / Scheduler is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to project schedule.
- A typical planner/scheduler is responsible for organizing workflows, collecting information, raising schedule risks and compiling reports on WBS levels, cost, etc.
- Examine master schedule, documents, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications.
- Review documents such as staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required.
- 5-7 years related experience required.
- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze costs related to project labour and schedules.
- Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel and project.
- Working knowledge in Primavera.
