Key accountabilities
- Lead and role model customer focus by solving the customer’s issue within the level of delegation or escalating for resolution.
- Work in partnership with your team leader to agreed performance standards and mutual expectations. Give and receive regular feedback to enable performance to be improved and take personal responsibility for optimising your potential within Client Company.
- Effectively lead, coordinate, program and monitor the successful delivery of complex design projects within nominated service, time, quality and cost standards, in a multi-disciplinary team environment, leadership and design standards will include innovation and environmental best practise outcomes.
- Provide an advisory service which includes investigations, feasibility, schematic and developed designs, design review, preparation of working drawings and specifications and construction instructions.
- Provide high quality services to all customers, in the context of a customer focused environment.
- Professionally represent and support the Landscape Architecture unit within the Client Company infrastructure and to the general public.
- Liaise, provide technical expertise and exchanges information with consultants, suppliers, customers and the general public as required.
- Other duties as required by the Unit Manager, Landscape Architecture and senior management pertaining to the delivery of landscape design services.
- Ensure all Client Company, legal and industry standards of design are met and accept professional and legal responsibilities for designs under control.
- Comply with and assist in the development and continuous improvement of Client’s Projects Office Quality Management System.
Essential:
- Ability to contribute to team direction, give and receive feedback and achieve agreed performance standards in order to contribute to a culture of performance excellence.
- Highly developed skills and demonstrated experience in the design, management and delivery of quality landscape and open space projects within established time cost and quality parameters, in context to innovative design solutions including integration of environmentally responsible design solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in working in multi-disciplinary teams including the ability to supervise and prioritise, plan and organise workloads.
- Demonstrated customer focus in a business-like environment.
- Practical skills in the use of relevant office-based computer systems.
Desirable:
- Membership of a professional industry association, e.g. AILA or UDIA.

We are currently recruiting an In-Service Support Technician specialising in rolling stock / locomotives, to work for a global rail equipment and locomotive manufacturer.
You will need to have either an electrical or mechanical trade qualification paired with a background in servicing and maintaining locomotives. The incumbent will need to be able to work a 24/7 roster. This is primarily an office-based role.
Location- Newcastle, NSW

Responsibilities
- Provide in-service support to train drivers when any faults occur during operation
- Provide technical / practical support to maintenance staff
- Fault-finding / Troubleshooting
- Provide first line fault identification, mitigation and reporting on the locomotive fleet.
- Develop countermeasures, fault rectification and action recovery plans to optimise the Availability and Reliability of the fleet.
- Interface with Customers, Facilities, Fleet Planning and Scheduling and third-party service providers
- Review asset management systems / IT systems related to fleet reliability / maintenance
- Assist with short term scheduling
Required Experience
- Trade / Engineering qualification (Electrical / Mechanical or dual trade)
- Expertise in locomotive fleet maintenance
- Proficiency with IT / Asset Management software such as Maximo
- Excellent communication skills

The Responsibilities:
• Coordinate construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications
• Interpret designs for implementation in construction projects
• Arrange and oversee the letting of tenders
• Undertake quantitative and qualitative safety, environment, and quality risk assessment to ensure acceptable quality of electrical, communication & rail systems.
• Develop, implement & monitor electrical quality management inspection & test plans
Inspect, monitor and report electrical non-compliances.
• Coordinate interfaces with electrical authorities
The Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering - Power, Electrical, Construction Management
• Minimum 3+ years' experience in a similar role
• Experience on high profile projects
• Knowledge of project management structure, plans, specification, standards and implications for project accountabilities
• Understanding of the Project Design Management Plan, Quality Management Plan Safety
• Management Plan and Environmental Management Plan
• Knowlege of design, planning and legislative requirements
