Airswift is seeking an Planning Manager, permanent position in Aracruz with a major Shipyard Company.
Manage the planning team, follow up the activities of Production Planning and Control, perform and evaluate reports and other manager controls. Ensure interface with all departments, prepare PBS / EAP, timesheet, histogram, progress curves, productive control and physical follow up, mitigate impacts proposing solutions for Project Managers and Directors, to solve the due impacts.
Submit systematically to the company’s BOARD, project performance, measurements and potential financial measurement.
Detect opportunities to elaborate the “change orders” and / or executive actions that bring greater result to the company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Integrate the practices of contracts management, following the best practices of project management;
Perform the mobilization and management of the planning team;
Determine the strategy about the conduction of each project as the profile;
Determine and / or encourage the tools development which could enable the projects execution and follow up.
Manage the interfaces between engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning;
Follow up the physical control measurement;
Manage contracts;
Conduct the preparation and negotiation of the claims;
Review contract terms signed with customers for the construction and assembly;
To know in detail the scope described in the contract;
Analyze the contractual scope of construction and assembly work;
Analyze the costumer contract timetable;
Analyze the PBS and EAP of projects portfolio and the project;
Responsible for managing task preparation activities, according all disciplines as necessary for the project construction works;
Responsible of planning services (general and detailed) of C&A;
Manage and ensure the presentation of periodical reports of physical progress.
Keep the workplace, equipment and material clean and organized, in order to maintain good conditions of usage, preserving the culture, standards, safety procedures, occupational health and environment;
Ensure that the requirements of quality management and anti-bribery systems are applied and met in their departments or functions;
Interrupt its activities by exercising the right of refusal, whenever it finds evidence of serious and imminent risks to its safety and health or that of other people, immediately reporting the fact to its superior, who will take the appropriate measures;
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent areas;
Desirable MBA in Project Management.
Advanced English;
MS Project;
Primavera Risk;
Strong background at least two disciplines of Metal / Mechanical / Electrical / Naval area.
