Our client seeks an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to join the client's Aberdeen oil & gas project delivery team on a contract basis. This is a full-time 6-month contract.

Job Description:
The Principal Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the management of electrical engineering services with focus in meeting the clients statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Provide offshore support.
- Participate in relevant meetings and prepare progress reports.
- Ensure the project scope is clear and in conformity with project change management processes.
- Provide advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities preparation.
- Outline project requirements including actively promoting workshare, where appropriate, assign tasks and supervise progress.
- Ensure the required services meet its clients, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, on time and within budget.
- Proactively resolve any discrepancies between the client and Customer's requirements.
- Communicate effectively with the electrical engineering team and project stakeholders, including the customer.
Requirements:
- Able to go to the Aberdeen’s office 3 to 4 times a week.
- A recognized and relevant Engineering Degree.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications in engineering; management, project management or supervisory qualifications or equivalent.
