Specific accountabilities
- Drafting of all process drawings including but not limited to PFD, UFD, P&IDs, Block flow diagrams, etc.
- Site surveys and process drawing verification.
- Coordinating process drafting work by other designers.
- Ensuring drawing quality and maintaining quality records.
- Filing and maintaining drawings and drawing register.
- Experience of internal audits will be an added advantage.
- Produce various discipline deliverables to the agreed schedule.
- Apply good interpersonal skills, liaising with members of other disciplines.
- Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the CSG, etc.
- Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the CSG, etc. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
Essential skills/experience
- Experience in the field of oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical process drawing drafting/design.
- Experience in AutoCAD, Microstation, SmartPlant P&ID, MS Office.
- Independently able to produce process drawings using company or client drawing standards.
- Experience in preparing line lists, equipment list, drawing and document lists.
- Good working knowledge of manual drawing conversion tools (raster or vector) and editing in CAD software.
- Familiarity with all process related engineering activities.
- Dynamic and enthusiastic approach.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrated performance as a team leader.
- A practical hands-on approach is required.
