Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor production performance and recommend activities to maintain and increase rates for both conventional and unconventional wells.
- Propose, schedule, write procedure for, and coordinate day-to-day workover field activities (cleanouts, artificial lift install, P&A, chemical treatments, etc). Includes economic evaluation of project list.
- Manage plugging and abandonment projects from approval through job completion.
- Contribute to the expense and capital project budget preparation and expense tracking/optimization.
- Manage field wide compression for conventional and high pressure gas lift sites
- Optimize artificial lift through nodal analysis and collaboration with others
- Interact with other team members in a manner that will help build respect and achieve set goals.
- Initiate actions that will enhance the operation's safety and environmental record. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures and plans along with federal, state and local regulations.
- Be proactive with continuous learning in all areas, especially emerging technology.
- Collaborate with field operators, production technicians, engineers and production supervisors to share ideas and generate solutions.
- Bachelor’s in Engineering
- 5+ years of production engineering experience
- Experience with various types of artificial lift (Primary: Gas Lift, Rod Lift; Secondary: Plunger and ESP), well surveillance, diagnosing and trouble-shooting well operations
- Excellent oral and written communications, teamwork, planning & organizational skills
- Software: Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products, Wellview, Rodstar, Spotfire, Coding (e.g. Python, R, SQL)
- Willing to travel 10% of the time to field locations – New Mexico and Oklahoma
