We are seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team at a major oilfield company in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Role Overview
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production staff to meet quality and quantity production goals.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in an oilfield environment is preferred.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Education & Experience
- Highschool Degree or a GED is required.
- Minimum 1 year in an oilfield environment preferred.
