Airswift is seeking for Project Control Analyst -  to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas Company. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or other Business-related field.
  • Chartered Accountant, CIMA, ACCA preferable
  • 8 years of accounting and Financial Controls experience with prior experience working in Oil & Gas upstream industry, upstream capital project planning, costing, scheduling, budgeting, and monitoring.
  • Experience in drilling and completions daily cost tracking, monthly cost control and reporting, and longer-term forecasting.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Analyse and assist with project controls activities for Development Planning Department team to ensure effective and consistent budget and cost controls.
  • Support CAPEX Stewardship activities for project controls reporting and work Requirement.
  •  Assist to analyse AFE reconciliation and work with Engineering to provide detailed explanations and overrun approvals.
  • Communicate the required actions with Finance when D&C activities complete to enable AFE close-out and depreciation where relevant.
  • Able to utilize cost information into Cost models/ cost analysis/ benchmarking throughout interface and coordinate effectively with required Client stakeholders.
  • Provide effective assistance to Finance with necessary and accurate data for developing financial accruals.
  • Assist with reviewing the monthly Drilling overhead costs and ensure timely assistance is provided to the Drilling & Completion engineers in testing charges to confirm that charges and rates are appropriate for key contractors.
