Title: Contracts Manager

Location: Lyon
Contract Length: 12 months (scope for extension)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to support a  Carbon Capture and Storage/Utilization (CCSU) project aimed at transforming a cement plant into a sustainable carbon capture facility to produce net zero cement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors, contractors, and technology providers.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and project-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with legal, procurement, and project teams to mitigate risks and resolve disputes.
• Monitor contract performance, terms, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in contract management, preferably in infrastructure, carbon capture projects, power plants, industrial or oil & gas projects
• Strong understanding of contractual law, negotiation, and risk mitigation.
• Proven track record managing contracts in engineering, construction, or energy sectors.
• Strong EPC knowledge

Job Responsibilities
 

• The Accounting and Finance Manager will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial reporting by meticulously maintaining and reconciling all general ledger accounts.
• Review transactions, identify discrepancies, and make necessary adjustments to ensure accurate financial records.
• Analyse financial data and emerging trends to pinpoint opportunities for improvement and cost-saving measures
• Lead the execution of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Regularly perform internal audits of financial data and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.

Requirements:
 

• Degree Holder in Finance or Accountancy
• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience
• Minimum 5 years experience in Data Centre environment as Finance Manager is a must
• Excellent communication skills in English language
• Self-starter and able to manage remote team

Requirement & Skills Required:

• 12+ years in project engineering & PM in brownfield projects in process plants.
• Experience in project coordination and implementation including contractor mgmt is necessary.
• Piping/mechanical background Engineer - Architectural/Industrial Building construction experience.
