Project Engineer - Mechanical

Airswift is seeking to invite an experienced Market Development Manager to handle Digital ID Technology business unit overseeing whole ASEAN market based in Selangor, Malaysia.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify, assess, develop and manage new programs and new business opportunities across multiple industry verticals including Logistics, Automotive, Consumer Goods, Healthcare, Food and Apparel leading to successful commercialization efforts.
• Own responsibility for execution and sales results by close collaboration with the commercial front end team and cross BU support.
• Develop full solutions stack offering (both inhouse and external partnerships) to address targeted Segment Use cases.
• Work with prospective Brand Owners (clients/customers) to identify unmet needs, and present compelling solutions.
• Initiate, determine, and present ROI business case analysis to Brand Owners.
• Stay abreast of industry trends by attending trade shows, events and staying on top of market insights as well as global branding trends.
• Communicate and link key value propositions, differentiators to clients with innovative solutions.
• Craft customized go-to-market strategies for ASEAN sub-regions, target segments, use cases and individual clients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field strongly preferred.
• Ability to develop go-to market strategy, as well as execute activities in cross-functional matrix structure.
• At least 10 years of experience in market development, business development or sales.
• Detail oriented, project management and communication skills a must.
• Strong influencing skills and storytelling skills and ability to champion projects both cross functionally and vertically within the organization, ability to gain buy-in from senior-level executives.
• Ability to travel frequently
• Previous Digital ID technology experience and knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A demonstrated track record in developing and executing new business opportunities.

Airswift has been tasked by one of our major oil & gas clients to seek a Project Engineer to work within their facilities located in Deer Park, TX for a long-term contract.

Within this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing small capital projects to deliver timely, economical, and safe completion. Projects are primarily maintenance replacements. In-house and external design/engineering support is available as needed.

Daily responsibilities:

• Act as the liaison with operations;
• Develop and manage project scopes and schedules;
• Estimate and control costs;
• Determine applicable client and regulatory policies and procedures and assure project compliance;
• Define and coordinate the work of engineering disciplines, both in-house and contract;
• Review and approve drawings including flow sheets, isos, layouts, etc. and vendor submittals;
• Prepare procedures, specifications, and bid packages;
• Specify, requisitions, and expedite materials and equipment;
• Coordinate construction and turn-over to operations; and
• Communicate the design and technical issues to technical and non-technical functions through reports, memos, design documents, and presentations in a manner that is concise, factual and effective.  Trains, directs, and reviews the work of lower level technical staff.
• Recommend action to improve the quality of the engineering function and working on new engineering methods.

Previous education and experience required:

• Graduate engineer with 5+ years or more of project engineering experience.  
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in chemical or petrochemical plant
• Responsible for assuring that capital, operating and engineering costs are optimized, that all work is completed as scheduled and meets all environmental, health, safety, legal and code requirements.
• Must be capable of handling multiple assignments with project ranging in size from $50K to $6MM.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Minimum of 5 years of experience developing resource loaded CPM project schedules in P6 (Primavera), Intermediate to advanced skills in Primavera P/6
•Proven experience running reports in Primavera
•Exceptional communication skills with others at all levels of organization Must be able to work independently without constant supervision
•Evaluate, perform resource analysis, perform critical path analysis, and prepare reports
•Schedulers will walk down scope, verify progress, and coordinate with all parties to ensure the schedule reflects proper status and forecast
•During execution Schedulers with mobilize to the field and provided daily forecasts for the management team
•All Schedulers will ensure the current status of every phase is accurately reflected in the reporting cycle
•Develop proper scheduling infrastructure for each turnaround: activity codes, resources, WBS nodes, etc
•Import jobs, tie logic, code, resource load/level all work in schedule
•must have Turnaround and maintenance scheduling experience within Primavera as well as technical proficiency in SAP and Excel.
