Airswift are currently seeking a Project Engineer to support a major client in Energy sector. Candidates with Supply Chain Project / Replenishment will be considered.
Responsibilities:

Ensure Project scopes are managed to deliver time, cost and quality outcomes with good financial, risk and resource management
Execution of all typical project artefacts and control methods
Establish effective governance forums
Manage Governance approvals and roadmaps for agreed projects
Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks/ issues, and communicating across various levels of leadership
Ensure end state teams are ready to accept the change - BAU transition
Effect project closure and team redeployment
Coaching and mentoring team members in problem solving, project management and governance deliverables
Ensure effective cross collaboration
Identify / lead or support optimization initiatives/projects across the ANZ network

Key Skills / Requirements:

3- 5 years of experience in project management
Results driven with a focus on cost and benefit
Ability to establish and maintain healthy stakeholder relationships
Drive and passion to deliver quality change
Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
Demonstrable project management experience in the delivery of complex, large-scale projects with multiple consultancies and stakeholders.
Ability to effectively manage conflict resolution
Strong commercial and business acumen, including Business case development
Experience in Replenishment and/or Supply Chain projects or operations
Experience with Agile delivery methodologies & experience establishing PMO practices (desirable)

Positively contribute to business development activities, positively represent the company across relevant industries and grow long-term relationships with clients
Lead by example, maintaining high standards of safety and commercial aptitude and ethical practices generally

Qualifications and Requirements

Relevant experience in Project Management (Energy or Construction sectors)
Bachelors in Engineering or similar
Competent in MS Project, Primavera, or similar
8+ years Project Management experience
Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams
Sound knowledge of PMBOK
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail with high level of accuracy
Two industry relevant Referees

Principal Project Controls

Airswift is seeking a seeking a Principal Project Controls professional to join our client in Charlotte, NC an initial four-year contract basis. Strong P6 Scheduling experience is a must!

This is the expert level of the Project Controls classification hierarchy. Workers at this level lead the development of the reporting systems for project controls assignments. They perform complex aspects of individual project estimating, scheduling, change documentation and cost control while reporting up to program or portfolio level as well as trains and teaches other members of PC organization with minimal oversight and wide latitude for unreviewed work. They are also expected to have advanced skills and can work independently. This position typically is assigned to projects classified as “Brown” or "Black" per the Project Management Center of Excellence Project Profile Matrix which typically range from $100M to greater than $500M with a high level of complexity.

Required Qualifications

Graduation from a four-year college or university - business, finance, project management, engineering, technical, or equivalent.
Minimum of 7 years of project controls experience.
Minimum of 11 years of project controls experience in lieu of a degree.
Expert in project controls principles and procedures.
Expertise / Mastery with project management / project controls concepts / computer applications / analytics; employee development; strong collaborative team member; oversight.

Preferred Qualifications

Masters - business, finance, project management, or equivalent.
PMI or AACE certification (the following or equivalent are acceptable - PMP, CAPM, PMI-SP, AACE-CCC, AACE-PSP, AACE-CEP, AACE-EVP).

Our client is seeking an Environmental Specialist to work within their facilities located in Charlotte, NC for a 1-year assignment.
This professional will be responsible for evaluating federal, state, and local environmental permitting requirements, and gaining required permits, specifically sediment and erosion control/stormwater preparation plans (SWPPP) and stormwater permitting for transmission capital project work concerning regulated electric transmission substations and lines.
Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing functional direction in preparing and obtaining environmental, erosion control / stormwater, and construction permits for federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
Provide compliance assurance support to the Transmission Construction team that ongoing projects are in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
Serve on project teams, attend meetings, and site visits, and develop permitting scope and schedule for variety of projects.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of permitting regulations and compliance requirements and their impact to Transmission projects.
Work with minimal supervision to determine and develop approaches to design and permitting issues.
Serves as environmental permitting expert for capital Transmission projects and collaborate with multiple work groups to provide specialized technical design expertise and judgment to resolve complex permitting issues.
Maintain project schedules and accountability for meeting specified schedules for permitting tasks.
Track project schedules and tasks.
Closeout of permits, including coordination with agencies, once construction is complete.
Develop processes, find efficiencies / improvements, and maintain appropriate permit records.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or other related field of study
Minimum of 8 years of experience
Proficient in obtaining local, state, and federal environmental permits including erosion and sediment & erosion control plans and Army Corps of Engineers US 404/401 permits.
Knowledge AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS
Ten years of experience supporting site civil and/or land development environmental permitting within multiple regulatory jurisdictions.
Experience preparing erosion control plan drawings, stormwater permits, and obtaining plan approval from NC DEQ/ SC DHEC.
Excellent negotiating skills with regulators and the public regarding the environmental permitting of land development projects.
