Project Engineering Division Manager

Airswift is seeking for a Project Engineering Division Manager to work with our client based in Qatar.
Job Purpose
Under the direction of the Offshore Project Manager, coordinates various Project Engineering scopes of work which are required to ensure the completion of the Offshore Project in line with the Field Development plan safely, to the correct level of quality and within the budget and on schedule.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or similar, however any qualification, technical or knowledge requirements may be waived through relevant work experience.
- 15+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry with at least five years demonstrated senior Project Management with focus on Project Objectives timely delivery including leadership skills and management of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors.
- Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
Key Accountabilities
- Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures. always Ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment.
- Manages effective communication and coordination between all Projects on cross Project issues.
- Manages all Project Engineering activities for the for Offshore Projects.
- Supports Offshore Project Manager follow-up and swiftly resolve PMT SIMOPS and Interface actions with Drilling & Completion and Operations Groups
- Supports Offshore PM to monitor the overall project performance and KPIs.
- Responsible for managing and close-out of cross Project Technical and Commercial issues as requested to support each Project delivery.
- Uses project management knowledge and awareness of details to be able to recognize when risks and issues are developing within critical Package Vendors and initiate appropriate preventive and corrective actions and sturdy resolution involving all project functions including Safety, Quality Contractual, Schedule, Technical, Interface as required for a timely resolution/mitigation of the issue/risk.
- Directs his team to collect and provide critical inputs to the Business team to drive any tendering process and to ensure their effective project support functions including Contracts, Lessons Learned, Risk Management etc...
- Provide guidance and input into Contractor strategies/procedures to achieve project Integration objectives as required.
- Participate in Offshore Constructability Reviews, Pre-Start-up Reviews etc. as required.
