You will oversee a range of engineering activities, covering the cement facility retrofitting, carbon capture plant, alternative fuel workshops, jetty construction, and associated utilities (high voltage substations, wastewater treatment, etc.).
Your role spans the entire engineering process from basic design to execution, technical documentation management, and coordination with vendors and subcontractors.
In this role, you will ensure that all engineering activities meet the project’s technical, budgetary, and timeline requirements. You will work closely with the Permitting Manager on technical aspects, manage engineering teams, and drive collaboration with external contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering Management:
Oversee all project engineering activities, ensuring compliance with project requirements and safety standards.
Review and approve technical documentation from subcontractors and vendors, ensuring it meets project specifications.
Lead project reviews (HSED, constructability, design), ensuring engineering solutions are cost-effective and compliant.
Coordinate technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness for construction phases.
Proactively address technical issues and resolve coordination challenges between designers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Procurement and Subcontracting:
Prepare technical sections of contracts for engineering, procurement, and construction.
Lead technical clarifications and negotiations with vendors, ensuring equipment and materials meet project specifications and industry regulations.
Ensure vendors and subcontractors meet their technical obligations and deliver quality documentation.
Construction Oversight:
Provide technical support during construction, ensuring modifications or non-conformities are addressed promptly.
Ensure timely delivery of all necessary technical documentation to the site management team.
Participate in construction and commissioning schedules, coordinating actions of technical teams to meet job site requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (advanced degree preferred).
Proven experience in engineering management, especially in heavy industries (cement, power plants, oil and gas).
Experience with large-scale industrial projects and a strong understanding of safety protocols.

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced electrician to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in electrical projects for industrial installations, switchboards and electrical panels and their integration, mainly using AutoCAD Electrical.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Developing and executing the integrated electrical design of industrial installations and optimum integration with mechanical and pneumatic systems to avoid interference.
Draw electrical schematics, panel layouts, cable and pipe routing diagrams with AutoCAD Electrical.
Design and integrate electrical panels, incorporating analog and digital signals,
ensuring their correct functionality and compatibility with general electrical systems.
Generate exhaustive reports, including lists of materials (BOM), technical documentation
and analysis of electrical projects to identify potential problems.
Effectively manage AutoCAD Electrical libraries, ensuring efficient selection and use of components.
Efficient selection of components and efficient use of symbols.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Consideration will be given to or students close to graduation who fully meet the requirements will be considered.
Experience in electrical projects for industrial installations, preferably with AutoCAD Electrical and experience in designing and integrating electrical panels.
Proven experience in designing electrical systems.
Familiarity with NFPA 70 and other applicable electrical standards.
Knowledge of other electrical design software, such as Revit MEP or EPLAN.
Experience in preparing electrical specifications, technical documentation and bills of material.
Knowledge of bills of materials (BOM).
Ability to review electrical projects and identify potential problems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Fluency in English (B2 level or higher) is required for effective communication with international colleagues.

Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop specifications for a variety of equipment.
- Conduct evaluations to ensure optimal solutions for project requirements.
- Prepare documents for inquiries and purchases, ensuring all specifications are met.
- Oversee the entire package delivery process, including supplier follow-up for various equipment such as control systems, metering packages, instruments, and valves.
- Create and maintain essential documentation, including System Control Diagrams (SCDs), Cause & Effect Diagrams (C&Es), instrument and cable lists, data sheets, termination diagrams, etc.
- Handle databases related to tags, I/O, cables, etc., using tools like SmartPlant Instrumentation.
- Follow up and manage work performed by the office in India, particularly concerning tasks like cable routing in E3D, electrical analysis (ETAP short circuit calculations), and more.
Experience:
- Experience in Norway
- Must have work permit in Norway
- 10-20 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in hydrogen plants, but experience in carbon capture, LNG, oil and gas, or other process industries is also considered.
- In-depth technical knowledge of control and safety systems for onshore plants, including fire and gas detection.
