PROJECT MANAGEMENT ENGINEER (FABRICATION) – OIL & GAS - KUALA LUMPUR
Airswift is seeking for a Project Management Engineer (Fabrication) to be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for our key client within the Oil and Gas (Upstream) sector.
The Client
A world leading offshore engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company that have been awarded a key large scaled offshore oil and gas projects with presence in over 70 countries.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Project Management team in the coordination of specific technical and management issues for the offshore project
- Ensure the fabrication site team has the latest revised drawings and to coordinate with engineering department.
- Coordinate and monitor the materials availability required for fabrication and ensure the delivery are as per ROS.
- Defining the allocation of resources and the use of assets and materials, in the preparation of subcontracting plans, in the evaluation of the resources necessary to prepare / update the mobilization plan
- Manage, supervise project fabrication activities for offshore facilities according to contract requirements and project objectives.
- Ensure time cost quality project objectives are met, through direct coordination and management of project engineering team and close coordination with the relevant engineering product line central function
- Take necessary technical decisions in case of unresolved conflicts between disciplines, ensuring that the engineering team properly interfaces with other project team members
- Supervising the fabrication progress and module and ensure that the fabrication is per released drawing.
- Resolving the non-conformance issue with related to the fabrication work on the subsea manifold and module.
- Ensure time cost quality project objectives are met, through direct coordination and management of project engineering team and close coordination with the relevant engineering product line central function
- Support the onshore fabrication and offshore installation by providing solutions to technical queries
- Manage progress work at site for structure fabrication and installation at site
- 10+ years of work experience in Project Engineering Management or Fabrication for Offshore Oil & Gas EPC and EPCIC Projects.
- Good knowledge of English both written and spoken
- Availability for international mobility only if needed - this position will be based in KL
