On behalf of our customers, we are currently recruiting for a Project Quality Manager to be placed in Monaco and would be on a 12 months contract with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage the Project Quality Plan and its associated processes, including Project Critical Assessment, Project Audit Plan, Non-Conformance Management, Site Quality Surveillance, Quality Incident Investigation, Project Life Gate, and Lessons Learned throughout the project life.
- Serve as the focal point to liaise with clients on quality-related matters within the project.
- Proactively interact with the PMT, as well as interface with other disciplines, Fabrication Yard/Subcontractors, and Vendors to ensure quality matters are effectively managed in accordance with project standards and requirements.
- Define and implement Project Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), conduct thorough analysis, generate performance reports, and initiate improvement actions as necessary, in close collaboration with the Project Management Team (PMT).
- Provide quality induction and awareness on applicable Project quality requirements, including Quality Rules, to all relevant stakeholders, including Vendors and Subcontractors during Kick-Off meetings or other dedicated sessions.
- Promote a Quality culture on the project, ensuring the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement of quality standards and systems.
- Ensure coordination and closure of actions on quality notifications/escalations within the project following quality notification/escalation processes.
- Ensure that non-conformances within projects are handled according to NCR processes, with root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions satisfactorily addressing the root cause of the issue.
- Ensure all lessons within the Quality scope of activities are continuously monitored and managed in accordance with Learning from Performance and Learning from Experience processes.
- Lead and/or conduct internal and external verifications/surveys/audits, and ensure that appropriate corrective actions are identified and effectively implemented.
- Contribute to the qualification and/or selection of vendors/sub-contractors.
- Contribute to continuous improvements of the systems and tools by providing feedback and lessons learned to the discipline community and Process Owners.
- Review all applicable quality-related documents submitted by Fabrication Yard/Subcontractors and Vendors, including final documentation.
- Drive the performance of quality resources within the project quality organization, ensuring that responsibilities are clear and priorities are effectively addressed.
- Where required, participate in leading quality incident investigations or be part of the incident team.
Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelor / master’s in engineering, Science, or in Quality related disciplines.
- Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in Oil and Gas industry in Quality Assurance or Quality Control function or HSSE / Process Safety
- Minimum 10-15 Project Experience with good understanding of Project Management Fundamentals, Engineering principles, lifecycle and assurance process and Construction Processes involving fabrication activities as well as special processes.
- Demonstrated proficiency with quality investigation tools with minimum 8 years’ experience in conducting Quality investigations resulting from Non-conformance, major Quality and/or HSSE incidents and other background of process investigations.
- Proven track record of utilizing analytical tools to improve quality metrics and achieve measurable results.
- Possess certifications in welding, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and coating processes.
- Strong Auditing Skills and has Lead Auditors Competency Certificate i.e. ISO 9001 or other equivalent standards.
- Strong proven understanding of Quality Management Systems i.e. ISO 9000 ISO TS 29001 etc., Processes and its interfaces.
