PROJECT MANAGER
Airswift is seeking a Project Manager to manage multiple Telecom projects, working with our client’s internal customers, generation plants, transmission, distribution and facilities as well as solar sites. This individual will work in the Telecommunications Department and collaborate with the internal teams on the private infrastructure bringing communication to T&D & substations on the grid to expand their services. This is an initial one-year contract position (with potential extension) based in St. Petersburg, FL. The schedule is hybrid, allowing the PM to work in-office (or in-field) twice/week and from home the remainder of the week.

Airswift is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join one of our energy clients in Plainfield, IN on an initial one-year contract basis. This position is responsible for the management of all phases of project planning and execution to ensure all project success factors are met, including but not limited to scope, schedule, cost, quality, environmental, safety, communications, security, and integration. In addition, this position is highly involved in the funding management and budgeting of the project / program responsible. This position will work directly with a full project team daily that includes Project Controls, Construction Management, Engineering, Real Estate, Environmental, Permitting & Community/Public Engagement to name a few.
This position typically will be assigned “Green” projects typically ranging from $50 to $250M with a moderate to high level of complexity. These projects typically involve complex but mature technology, moderate scope complexity, and stakeholders that include facility and department level personnel in addition to Senior Management, and possibly the Board of Directors and External Agencies. The PM serves as the unifying agent providing leadership, management, direction, coordination, and control of the overall project in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements of the Company.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Project Management – 25%
- Establish and maintain communications among all project/program’s stakeholders.
- Structure, lead, and/or assist in leading all project-related meetings and reports required to ensure open communication between all team members, key stakeholders, and management (regular project reviews, kickoff meetings, weekly reports & monthly reports) and to properly report project status.
- Assure that Project Plan, all appropriate reports and reporting means are developed and managed according to PMCoE Standards.
- Coordination with the various internal and external organizations that are providing services to the project (development, engineering, project controls, estimating, construction management, supply
- chain, legal, EHS, QA/QC, operations, communications, regulatory, security, fuels, transmission, etc.).
- The PM manages all matrixed members of the team daily and is responsible for assuring all project deliverables (KPIs) are being met.
- Plan the project(s) assigned to, including scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality aspect of the project.
- Drive the process of project planning including scope definition, estimating, schedule formation and monitoring, cost control measures, procurement/contracting strategies, equipment selection, vendor selection, start-up and commissioning plans, and integration processes. This includes project planning and execution activities like scope definition, detailed design, construction, start-up and commissioning, turnover to operations, and warranty management.
- Execute projects according to plan within designed scope, cost and schedule limits. Includes objectives, stakeholders, scope, roles and responsibilities, assumptions and constraints, deliverables, WBS, schedule, external communication, regulatory strategy, procurement strategy, contractor and supplier strategy, resource plan, budget, lessons learned, risk plan, quality plan, safety plan, environmental plan, security plan, integration plan, data management plan, communications and reporting plan, change management, and project close out.
- Ability to create, develop and deliver project / business case presentations to Senior Management and project sponsors.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent technical field.
- 16+ years of experience in lieu of degree
- 10+ years of Transmission Project Management experience executing both new & rebuild/expansion of Substations & Transmission Lines.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The incumbent is responsible for the operation of the reactor and station equipment ensuring safe and efficient operation of the nuclear plant in accordance with State and Federal Regulations, Plant Operating License, and Station Procedures while meeting the electrical power needs of the company.
The candidate will also go through the company's eighteen-month training and, after meeting the class requirements, will obtain the Reactor Operator (RO) or Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license. Once certified, the employee will have short and long-term incentives added to their compensation. The bonuses vary depending on the experience and on the license obtained.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• The candidate has at least three years of power plant experience. Up to 18 months of this experience may be credited by academic equivalence as defined in the most recent version of the Institute of Nuclear Power.
• The candidate possesses a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Operations (INPO) ACAD that provides guidelines for initial license candidate's eligibility. The candidate must also have at least six months at CNS.
Additionally, operations experience is required, as defined below:
• 6 months performing plant operational duties as a Non-Licensed Operator (NLO) on site.
OR
• 12 months performing plant operational duties as a NLO at another Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) facility.
OR
• 6 months performing plant operational duties as an ACTIVE licensed RO at another BWR facility.
OR
• 24 months in position equivalent to the RO position at a military reactor. Equivalent military positions are defined as one of the following: RO, Engineering Watch Supervisor (EWS)/Engineering Officer Of the Watch (EOOW),Propulsion Plant Watch Officer (PPWO)/Propulsion Plant Watch Supervisor (PPWS).
