The QA/QC engineer is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the quality
management system during the Execution and Commissioning Stage. As such, key responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Responsible for the development of the project Quality plan and supervision of all amendments and revisions;
- Responsible for the overall project QA/QC requirements;
- Monitor all quality related activities on the project
- Liaise with lead engineers and construction manager to identify the root cause of non-conformance items and implement the procedures for corrective action and prevention;
- Ensure that quality is fully integrated, in the project team and also within all the contractors’ activities;
- Set up and maintain all Quality policies and guidelines for construction, commissioning and operational activities;
- Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements;
- Coordinate all quality related correspondence with the Project Team.
