The Quality Manager will develop and review contractor systems and oversee the implementation of the project quality system requirements to ensure that the EPC Contractor achieves the project quality objectives. This role will manage Quality Assurance (QA) activities aimed at achieving compliance to all LNG/Net Zero Solutions (LNG/NZS) technical specifications and standards, LNG/NZS good business and industry standard practices in order to minimize rework and delays, attain the high safety standards and achieve clear and definitive equipment and vendor inspections plans aimed at establishing construction and system effectiveness.

Manages overall Functional and Project quality system implementation and compliance with applicable LNG and industry codes and standards.

Ensures effective inspection performance by EPC Contractor through evaluating and challenging inspection findings in vendors shops and in the field construction.

Reviews for acceptance all contractor quality systems documentation, ensuring compliance with quality system requirements, with particular respect to Engineering QA Audits, and Construction/Commissioning Quality Control (QC) inspection and test plans.

•
Provides guidance and technical support to the project Quality team for safe performance in quality management beginning with engineering, leading to procurement - including inspection of fabrication processes and procedures - and construction / commissioning processes, procedures, and execution.

Establishes, coordinates and participates in audit schedule with the onsite EPC Contractor and with major fabricators.

Acts as subject-matter expert on inspection techniques and methods for LNG/NZS facilities.

Oversees selected Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) activities, reviews radiographs etc.

Ensures effective use of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and related documents in all quality monitoring activities.

Ensures effective implementation of non-conformance and deviation control systems.

Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).

Demonstrated experience in monitoring EPC Contractor Quality Management processes, plans, procedures, and performance.

Experience with LNG export facilities, LNG receiving facilities, LNG ship loading systems, large concrete reinforced structures, jetty structures and marine breakwater.
Required
Experience in vendor monitoring of LNG/NZS equipment fabrication and testing facilities.

Experience in all phases of LNG projects, including FEED, Detail Design, Commissioning and Start-up.
