Regional Sales Manager

 

Summary

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to work closely with the Singapore & Asian teams to explore & win opportunities in O&G and direct EPC sales/project business for the company.
Our client is a leading industrial component manufacturing MNC with a presence in multiple industries, primarily in the O&G sectors.

This position sits in Singapore and will have 10-20% travelling when required to manage EPC’s, contractors, wholesalers and O&G companies.
 

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies and action plans for assigned territories, accounts and projects both locally and region to achieve budgeted sales & order entry.
  • Build up business relationships with EPC’s, contractors, wholesellers, companies engaged in O&G project business
  • Engage in identifying, pursuing sales in energy sector project (primarily O&G) on project and MRO orders with EPC’s & contractors in Japan, Korea, Singapore, Indonesia. Product focus would be solution selling on Junction boxes, Local control station, Panels and Switch rack.
  • Develop direct customers contact as well as build either own local team or agents, in target markets based on need of winning EPC project business in target countries
  • Target & pursue projects of target owners, EPC’s & regions, early identification of project value chain & preparing tactics to win the order and enter vendor listing of O&G majors, national oil companies and consultants.
  • Maintain and expand current customer base; leverage on robust business relationships and excellent service level to acquire first-hand information on their upcoming projects. Build and nurture personal/business relationships with key accounts to gain broader and deeper understanding of their business potentials, project leads, key decision makers at various levels
  • Develop new accounts not limiting to project owners, consultants, EPC’s while promoting awareness through our enclosure product line.Explore growth opportunities in assigned territories to boost company sales revenues.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitive activities, market trends, and customer purchasing practices and ensure communications of these activities to the director/sales colleagues.
 

Job Qualifications

  • 7 – 10 years work experience of selling electrical, electronics, instrumentation products to EPC’s in South east Asia. Additional experience in Korea & Japan markets will be preferred.
  • Ability to work as a Individual Contributor, able to manage their own timeline to increase efficiency.
  • A team player who is able to work well with multiple team members as well as guiding junior members of the team as well.
  • Good communication skills and good internal/external stakeholder management.
