Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Requirement Engineer to join our team in the automotive industry. As a Requirement Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the Software Requirements Engineering (SWE.1) process. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the decomposition of system requirements into software requirements and ensure their successful implementation within the development team. You will also be responsible for managing requirements reviews and ensuring adherence to the ASPICE process and customer's requirements management process.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and analyse system requirements.
  • Decompose system requirements into software requirements while considering ASPICE and V Model standards.
  • Define and document software requirements, ensuring their traceability and alignment with the system requirements.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure proper implementation and integration of software requirements.
  • Conduct regular requirements reviews and manage the review process within the development team.
  • Ensure that all requirements are properly documented, reviewed, and approved according to established processes.
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as software developers, testers, and project managers, to address any requirements-related issues and ensure effective communication.
  • Follow the ASPICE process and customer's requirements management process to ensure compliance and quality standards.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements related to requirement engineering in the automotive domain.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in software functionalities related to vehicle communication, CAN, Ethernet, network management, ECU handling, mode management, degradation, system monitoring, flashing and bootloader, diagnostics, DoIP, DTC, video and audio streaming, video over RTP/Ethernet, security, SecOC (Secure Onboard Communication), VKMS (Vehicle Key Management System), secure diagnostics, secure boot, etc.
  • Utilize Requirements Management tools such as PTC, DOORS, and ideally PTC Integrity for effective management and traceability of requirements.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Software Requirements Engineering (SWE.1) within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ASPICE and V Model standards.
  • Background in software development for AUTOSAR is preferred, in addition to requirement engineering expertise.
  • Familiarity with one or more of the software functionalities listed in the job summary.
  • Experience with Requirements Management tools such as PTC, DOORS, and ideally PTC Integrity.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
