GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The role necessitates a significant level of responsibility and accountability in identifying revenue generation opportunities for SER. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager you will be required to further enhance the company’s market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business opportunities, which, includes but not limited to, start-up ventures and establishing the company within new regional territories.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Managing the revenue growth and establishing sales targets within the territory; reaching, exceeding sales goals, managing expenses and assisting line manager with below reports & forecast. • Revenue Forecast (Budget Vs Actual)
• Sharing reports through CRM on a regular basis on opportunities, current quotation status and orders; providing appropriate reporting e.g. (sales visit reports). Administering the overall sales responsibility for all potential and existing markets within the territory; generating customer requirements through sales visits and close customer contact. Issuing professional, technical quotations whilst maximizing margin; conducting technical presentations and demonstrations for the same. Establish detailed customer profiles that identify short, mid, and long-term growth opportunities.

Our client, a leading global supplier of Rolling Stock, seeks the services of Mechanical Fitters to work in the rail industry, based at their Wulkuraka Depot.
On offer is a permanent role, including annual leave and sick leave entitlements as per the EBA. Rates are dependent on experience. Contract roles can be considered if required
About the role:
- Wheelsets and bogie changeouts
- Carry out routine examinations and Fault finding
- Interrogation and diagnostic testing on heavy rail equipment installed on the QNGR Project.
- Actively maintain and repair rail equipment installed
- Fulfil safety procedures
- Report daily and weekly on activity, problems found and measures taken to maintain
- Operating and maintaining workshop equipment
- General workshop duties
About you
- Australian qualifications as a Mechanical Fitter, Turner or Machinist or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand schematics
- Ability to complete shift work
- Excellent communication skills
- Rolling stock, rail, (including working on Bogies) or heavy industry experience will be highly regarded.
- Due to the nature of the work, you will be required to be physically fit
It will be a requirement of the role for you to complete a CAT 2 Rail Medical and an RIW.

Electrical Installer – Communications
Our client seeks Electrical Installers to work in their Newport Facility. The role will entail retro fits of CCTV and Comms on trains and trams
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Configure network equipment accurately;
- Change firmware version on network equipment;
- Download and upload files using tftp and ftp;
- Conduct wireless surveys;
- Set up network systems in Lab and test to ensure they are ready for installation;
- Log and test equipment that has been delivered;
- Assist with asset tracking;
- Assist with commissioning of network installations;
- Fault finding and replacement of faulty hardware;
- Use Linux for copying and configuring network equipment flash cards;
- Technical documentation;
- Cultivate and maintain cooperative relationships;
- Operate in line with the ND OH&S plan and that of its clients;
- Able to undertake site based work as required;
- Operate in a professional manner; and
- Other duties as defined from time-to-time
Qualifications and requirements:
- Experience with configuring networking equipment using CLI and GUI
- Understanding of IP addressing and subnetting
- Understanding of VLANs
- Understanding of network operation and network equipment roles
- Rail Industry Workers (RIW) (CAT 3)
