Airswift is seeking a Service technician to work in France for a Wind service specialist provider for manufacturers, owners and operators. Our client is providing services in installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of big composants.

Business Purpose of the Role:
The purpose of the role is to carry out the work necessary to O&M the wind turbines and ensure correct operation.
Job Responsibilities
- Diagnosis and troubleshooting mechanical or electrical incidents
- Interpretation of electrical and mechanical drawings and technical documentation
- Execute tasks overhaul, repair, preventive and corrective maintenance, unemployment and commissioning of the wind turbines in accordance with the working procedures as manuals and procedures of the machine.
- Control of tools and equipment assigned.
- Management of spare parts and consumables.
- Location and correction of faults and malfunctions.
- Report incidents and improvements.
- Alarm Information uncontrolled.

Job Qualifications
- Education and/or Experience: Studies electricity, intermediate or engineering studies.
- At least 1 year of work experience in commissioning or maintenance of specialized TROUBLE SHOOTING, O&M Procedures and schemes understanding.
- Product Knowledge: Different kinds of wind turbines (Gamesa, Acciona, GE, Alstom….)
- Language : French and English are required ; Spanish is a plus
- Computer Skills: Good working knowledge of Microsoft products and PLCS
- Work Environment: Ability to work at height and in confined spaces. Working regularly in outdoor weather conditions
- Safety Focus - Performs work in a safe manner at all times and observes safety and security procedures; avoids shortcuts that increase health and safety risks to self or others; reports potentially unsafe conditions and potential hazards; encourages and supports others to be safe while at work.

Job summary:
The team’s task is to engage in the preservation of the Plant, minimizing costs and delivering an engineering and maintenance strategy that supports the long-term commercial operation of the Plant.
Asset Engineer are mainly responsible for delivering compliance against legislative, statutory, corporate and site policy and procedures.
Will also deal with providing engineering expertise and ownership for contract management and the delivery of assigned budgets.
Requirements:
- Must have relevant Engineering qualifications minimum HND, and / or equivalent experience.
- Recognized HSE qualification.
- Must have served a recognized apprenticeship and be qualified to a minimum level of NVQ level 3 (or equivalent).
- Significant experience in a plant area of the power station and would be classed as a subject matter expert in their field of competence.
- Previous experience of working in a technical role in either mechanical, electrical or control and instrumentation discipline.
- Detailed knowledge of managing contractors and have the skills and have the ability to lead a team.
- Experience of managing multiple budgets for OPEX and CAPEX.
- Experience of managing multiple contracts as a contract owner.
- Be able to responds and adapt to change with a positive attitude.
- Strong team and relationship building skills.
- Able to work in an environment of continuous improvement, looking to identify causes of poor reliability, prioritizing and progressing the solutions.
- Knowledgeable and competent in the use of IT systems (Excel, Word, Maximo WMS).

As Environmental Advisor, your main focus will be:
- Act as a key interface on site for environmental compliance advice and execution of Project environmental management systems.
- Lead development and delivery of environmental awareness initiatives
- Prepare and execute environmental compliance reviews and provide advice to contractors and Major Project Teams.
- Conduct field based activities including wildlife and environmental event response tasks.
- Undertake fauna handling activities, conduct site environmental training and risk assessments, provide guidance and support as required.
- Undertake environmental sampling as required.
- Lead land disturbance and management activities.
- Support and champion Social performance objectives
Desired experience/qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in the field of environmental science or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role within the mining industry or Major Project delivery.
- Knowledge of state and Federal Legislation and associated Project approvals.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing environmental management systems and compliance activities.
- Strong team focus, with the ability to organize communicate and prioritize outcomes effectively to ensure protection of key environmental and social values.
- Flexible to travel.
