Senior Electrical Designer – Perth, WA


Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to work within their facilities located in Perth, WA on a 12-month initial contract.

Job Overview:
Our client is currently seeking an extensively experienced Senior Electrical Designer with proven experience in delivering mining projects to join their high performing team located in Perth, WA.
It is envisioned that the successful candidate will have a high level of proficiency with MicroStation in both 2D and 3D modelling and a willingness to expand their skills and provide mentorship within the project team, fostering growth and collaboration.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize your expertise in 3D modeling and 2D drawings to develop comprehensive and precise electrical designs.
  • Support the detailed design process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications from concept to construction award.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation is essential, as you will be instrumental in translating ideas into technical drawings and models.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless design solutions that align with project requirements.
  • Utilize your experience in raceways (advantageous but not essential) to enhance the quality and efficiency of electrical designs.
     
What you will bring:
  • Proven experience in 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation is crucial for success in this role.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation is a must, enabling you to bring designs to life with precision.
  • While a background in mining projects is preferred, candidates with diverse design backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to transform concepts into accurate technical designs.
  • A track record of taking ownership of projects, leading design efforts, and collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
