The Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the Brisbane office, contributing to the success of exciting and new projects. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and designers, working on projects that push boundaries and drive innovation.

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines to develop innovative and sustainable solutions.
Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers and design teams.
Prepare detailed design documentation.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Participate in project meetings, manage project budgets, and deliver projects within established timeframes.
Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering within the building services sector.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems design
Proficiency in industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design tools.
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing projects from conception to completion.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices.

Minimise company exposure and risk through the management of scope and expectations.

Required Experience

5+ years experience in a similar role – Planning / Scheduling / Project Controls
Proficiency in Primavera P6
Relevant degree / qualification e.g. PMI, Bachelor Engineering etc.

Vendor or Operator experience is preferred.
Knowledge about Huawei solutions and products is preferred
