As Senior Electrical Engineer you will provide electrical engineering services, including technical support and supervision within the electrical engineering team. You'll be responsible for ensuring technical excellence, supervising teams, and adhering to project timelines and budgets.
- Provide expert electrical engineering services in alignment with the client company's, customers', and regulatory standards, ensuring timely and budget-friendly outcomes.
- Initiate, oversee, and potentially supervise electrical engineering projects, guaranteeing their successful execution.
- Execute diverse electrical engineering tasks, including meeting participation, progress report generation, and adherence to quality checks.
- Ensure project scope clarity and manage changes within established change management protocols.
- Offer guidance during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases; prepare requisitions, evaluate bids, and compose purchase orders.
- Proactively reconcile disparities between the client company's and Customer's expectations.
- Stay current with advancements and innovations in electrical engineering.
- Assist and mentor junior team members, as required.
- Foster effective communication with the electrical engineering team and project stakeholders.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and formulate solutions for challenges, seeking assistance when needed.
- Hold a recognized and pertinent engineering degree.
- Chartered Engineer Status or eligibility for attainment within 3 months of employment initiation.
- Exhibit strong technical and practical engineering skills, consistently delivering accurate work to the client company and customers.
- Possess solid knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals and a working understanding of other engineering domains.
- Familiarity with applicable local and international standards, statutory, and regulatory requisites.
- Proficiency in specialized electrical engineering software.
- Skilled in relevant software, including MS Office Suite.
- Extensive hands-on experience in electrical engineering within a similar industry, including multidisciplinary project participation.
- Additional postgraduate qualifications in engineering, management, project management, or supervisory fields would be advantageous.
