Role Overview
  • Design and implement hardware and software for embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment without supervision
  • Architects entire hardware systems for complex products. Designs scalable and modular platforms.
  • Integrates cutting-edge technologies (e.g., latest RISC-V cores, advanced wireless modules)
  • Innovates in low-power and energy-efficient designs                                                                        
  • Establishes best practices and processes for the organization
  • Interface with firmware design and development
  • Integrate and validate new product designs
  • Provide post-production support
  • Applying state-of-the-art embedded systems design to solve business problems
  • Performing research and developing proof-of-concept prototypes

Requirements
 
  • Ability to think in an analytic and structured way
  • S/MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Proven working 5+ years experience in hardware and software engineering
  • Comfortable with defining and/or working with detailed hardware requirements
  • Competent at schematic entry and architecture definition
  • Good experience and proficiency in Schematic & PCB design using Altium Designer
  • Proven experience of taking electronic products into production
  • Hands-on experience with test and measurement equipment
  • Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets
  • Knowledge Python for test script extension and development
  • Understanding of Git workflow
  • Ability to mentor/support junior and intern teammates
  • Strong English language communication and technical skills
  • Strong technical documentation writing skills
  • Good presentational and visualization skills. Ability to describe and present results clearly, answer questions and communicate issues

Desirable (hard skills)
 
  • Altium designer related :
    • Experience with RF and High-Speed Design ;
    • Experience in mixed boards design (rigid-flex);
    • Experience with HW manufacturing files and specs preparation;
  • Ability to build and maintain virtual machines.
  • Proficiency in other languages relevant to IoT (Lua, Matlab, JavaScript) might be a plus
  • Experience working closely with client representatives to achieve business outcomes
  • General working knowledge of agile methodologies

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded hardware engineering.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies or experience with key hardware components preferred.
