Responsibilities:
- Conduct first article inspections (FAI) for manufactured aerospace parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform interim and final inspections, documenting and reporting results in compliance with AS9102 guidelines.
- Collaborate with production teams to address non-conformities and discrepancies, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, and quality documentation.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance inspection procedures and overall product quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 6 years of FAIR experience.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T symbols.
- Strong understanding of aerospace components, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus) and proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Access and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to work in a 2-shift system.
